Sims Checklist does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.
- The app does not require account creation or login.
- No analytics, crash reports, or telemetry are sent to any third party.
- No personal information, device identifiers, or location data is collected.
- All data (checklists, airport database, user preferences) is stored locally on your device.
- METAR/TAF weather data is fetched directly from the CheckWX API on your device and is not cached by us.
3. Third-Party Services
The app uses the following external resources:
- CheckWX API — for fetching METAR/TAF weather reports. Your IP address may be visible to CheckWX per their privacy policy.
- Google Play Store — app distribution and updates. Google Play's privacy policy applies to your interaction with the store.
- OurAirports — airport database source. Data is downloaded and stored locally.
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's servers. Google's privacy policy applies to font loading.
4. Children's Privacy
Sims Checklist is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).
The app is designed for aviation simulation enthusiasts and does not contain features directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
